Allison began her hairstyling career working under Philip Dyson, a Lead Joico Artist under Vidal Sassoon training and influence. In pursuit of a career in the big city, Allison moved to Toronto and gained employment at Civello Rosedale and it was from this point forward she knew salon ownership was a dream she wanted to achieve.
After working in a number of salons and developing her skills as a stylist and barber, Allison decided to open her first salon in Leslieville at the age of 25 and has never looked back.
Allison has worked alongside and collaborated with celebrity hairstylist Larry Sims and has featured her work on MuchMusic and Toronto Fashion Week. Allison continues to redefine why she loves hairstyling each day in her chair.
Ashley began her hairstyling journey over eight years ago, finding her passion at an early age while styling her Barbies’ hair (she has come a long way since then!). In the later years, you would find Ashley styling and cutting her friends’ hair. Having developed a passion for the fashion industry over the years, Ashley knew she wanted to pursue a career in the field.
Following her graduation from Marca College, Ashley apprenticed under a well-known stylist in the hair industry, and eventually worked up to being a senior stylist. Ashley loves all elements of hair design, with a particular interest in colouring, extensions, and barbering.

Emelie’s fascination for hair began at a young age, brushing, braiding and cutting her mother’s waist-length hair. In her teenage years, Emelie began endless experimentation with colours and cuts on herself and others.
Shortly after moving to Toronto, Emelie was approached by a salon owner to be an apprentice, and the rest is history! Emelie has spent the last 7 years learning and growing as a stylist in the salon and beyond, exploring freelance work, styling dancers and singers, as well as wig designing for theatre and other stage performances. Emelie is a passionate hairstylist with a particular love for colour and styling.

Having worked retail for many years, Trevor moved to Toronto to begin his journey to become a hairstylist. Trevor soon enrolled in an apprenticeship program and subsequently became licensed in 2013 after years of working to become the talented stylist he is today.
Being fully content with sitting on a bench and people watching, Trevor draws his inspiration from magazines, blogs, music and watching others “make pretty”. Trevor constantly keeps up with the latest trends. He has passion for creating hairstyles of all types, but you’ll see his eyes light up if you speak balayage to him.

Born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Maeve was a professional dancer and toured the world for 14 years with Michael Flatley’s “Lord of the Dance.” In 2017, Maeve hung up her dance shoes and moved to Toronto. Maeve’s original passion is hairstyling. She spent much of her childhood working with her father in his hair salon back in Ireland, so pursuing a career in the industry comes as second nature to her.
Maeve is currently enrolled in George Brown College for her hair styling apprenticeship. She looks forward to starting her career at Textür and learning from the team!

Burger is Textür Studio’s in-salon security, having specialized in the field many gruelling years. Burger, however, is not a one-trick pony (ok, she’s a dog)! Burger provides lap-warming services and has a knack for hand cleaning and treat-receiving. Having been in the salon industry for her whole life, Burger needs a break every once in a while, so if she is not chasing down thieves (balls), you’ll likely find her taking a well-earned nap.
